Giving Back to Our Community
We’re proud to support the Medway Hospital Charity’s Thirty at 30 Appeal, which aims to raise £30,000 to fund 30 new wheelchairs for patients. Each chair costs £1,000, and our donation will provide one of these vital chairs.
As part of the appeal, we were invited to suggest a name for one of the wheelchairs. We have chosen to do so in memory of our Marketing Manager’s father, who recently passed away after a long and courageous fight against Alzheimer’s. In his final years, a wheelchair became an essential part of his care, helping him maintain dignity and comfort when mobility was lost.
We wanted this tribute to reflect both his resilience and his years of service as a firefighter. The name we chose is Michael Sentinel. Sentinel - because he was always someone who stood watch, protecting others even to the end. It’s a fitting name for a chair that will help others in their time of need.
