LEARNER DRIVER

Features of your policy:
  • Instant online cover for provisional licence holders aged 17-34
  • 30, 60, 90, 120, 180 and 240-day options
  • Acts as a secondary insurance policy with no risk to the owner's No Claims Discount
  • Covers learners during their driving test, with the policy ending as soon as they pass
  • Covers most cars provided they are already insured by the car’s owner, have a current market value of less than £30,000, are up to 20 years old and in insurance group 32 or less
What's included in your cover?
  • Legal liability
  • Damage to the vehicle
  • Medical expenses
  • Personal belongings

This cover is not for you if:

  • You need learner driver insurance on your own car
  • You'd like annual provisional to full licence insurance
  • You're learning to drive in a van or commercial vehicle

BLACK BOX INSURANCE

Features of your policy:
  • Instant comprehensive cover for learners and full licence holders aged 17-30, as the main driver on a vehicle
  • Cover before and after you pass with no price increase on passing
  • No driving curfews
  • Annual insurance policy
  • Covers vehicles up to 25 years old in most UK postcodes
What's included in your cover?
  • Legal liability
  • Damage to the vehicle
  • Windscreen repair/replacement
  • Personal accident
  • Medical expenses
  • Personal belongings
  • Minimum cover throughout Europe

This cover is not suitable if you're:

  • Looking for short-term cover just a week or a month in length
  • Driving a commercial vehicle

NAMED YOUNG DRIVER INSURANCE

Features of cover
  • Two types of fully comprehensive cover to choose from, for drivers aged 17-27 driving a parent or grandparents’ car
  • Annual policies (up to 10,000 miles) are available for full or provisional licence holders with no price increase on passing
  • Pay As You Go policies are available to full licence holders only, with auto top-up of 100, 200, 300, 400 or 500 miles
  • Black box technology is used for the young driver only with no driving curfews
  • Earn your own No Claims Discount
  • Acts as a secondary insurance policy with no risk to the owner's No Claims Discount
  • Covers most cars provided they are already insured by the car’s owner, have a current market value of less than £30,000, are up to 20 years old and in insurance group 32 or less

This cover is not suitable for:

WEEKLY STUDENT DRIVER INSURANCE

Features of cover
  • Insurance exclusively for higher education or boarding school students, aged 18-27, with a full licence, driving a friend or family member’s car
  • Instant comprehensive cover, from 1 to 6 weeks (available in 7-day increments)
  • Acts as a secondary insurance policy with no risk to the owner's No Claims Discount
  • Covers most cars provided they are already insured by the car’s owner, have a current market value of less than £30,000, are up to 20 years old and in insurance group 32 or less
What's included in your cover?
  • Legal liability
  • Damage to the vehicle
  • Medical expenses
  • Personal belongings

This cover is not suitable for:

  • Insuring a learner driver
  • Students wanting to insure their own car
