Kent Neuro Therapy Centre provides expert care and specialist therapies for people living with MS, Parkinson’s and stroke across Kent. From their purpose-built Centre in Canterbury, they help people work towards personal goals, improve their quality of life and maintain independence.
Their multidisciplinary team offers personalised, evidence-informed support shaped around each individual. Services include neuro physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, gym-based therapy and tailored exercise, alongside counselling, oxygen therapy, podiatry and complementary therapies. They also offer group activities and opportunities to connect with others who understand the realities of living with a neurological condition.
You do not need a referral from a GP or consultant to access their services. They are a self-referral charity, so you can contact them to find out how they may be able to support you or someone you care about.
As an independent charity, they need to raise around £850,000 every year to keep their Centre running and the therapies accessible. Every donation helps them continue providing the expert care, encouragement and community their members rely on.
There are many easy ways to support them. You could make a one-off or regular donation, organise a fundraiser, take part in an event or choose them as your workplace or community group’s charity. You can also donate good-quality clothes, accessories, books and household items to their on-site charity shop, or visit them to browse and buy. However you choose to help, your support enables people living with MS, Parkinson’s and stroke to feel stronger, more confident and less alone.
