CFRF are a nationally recognised charity with a heartfelt mission: to empower retired civil servants and their families to enjoy a fulfilling and enriched retirement. Their dedication is rooted in creating meaningful connections and providing the support they need to thrive in this new chapter of life.
More about the Civil Service Retirement Fellowship
The Civil Service Retirement Fellowship (CSRF) is a registered charity that supports retired civil servants and their dependants across the UK. Founded in 1965, the organisation was created to help former civil servants stay connected, supported and active in later life. Its work is centred on friendship, community and practical support, helping people avoid loneliness and maintain a sense of belonging after retirement.
Today, CSRF provides a range of services including national befriending schemes, local community groups, and a Freephone advice line offering information and signposting on issues such as pensions, care, legal matters, bereavement and wellbeing. Through these services, the charity helps retired members of the civil service family feel connected, cared for and supported when they need it most.
