RTI/Finance & Agreed Value Gap PLUS  Hire Vehicle

This cover responds in the event that the insured vehicle is stolen and unrecovered or involved in an insured incident whereby the vehicle is deemed uneconomical to repair.

This insurance is designed to pay the difference between the amount paid for the insured vehicle and the amount the motor insurer will pay if they have declared the vehicle a total loss.

The policy will also provide an extra benefit in the form of a hire vehicle similar to insured for a period up to 28 days. (This benefit only provided to car and light commercial van customers).
 

Features of cover:

(for cars, bikes, vans up to 35cwt & motorhomes up to 190 days after purchase)

• 24, 36, 48 & 60 month policies
• No restriction on age or mileage
• Vehicles £7,500 to £150,000 value
• Claim benefits* (*subject to policy chosen) between £5,000 & £50,000
• Includes up to £250 motor excess
• If a Total Loss we pay the difference between the Insured Value and either the purchase price or the amount of the Early Settlement Finance Figure, whichever is the greater.

Exclusions include but are not limited to:

• Taxis, driving school vehicles, chauffeur or courier vehicles
• Kit cars, invalid carriages, commercial vehicles in excess of 3,500kg gross vehicle weight
• American, Australian or Canadian vehicles not built for the UK market
