CSIS and CSIS Charity Fund celebrate another 10 years of grant giving

Date
December 2017

Although CSIS has donated all profits to charity since its formation back in 1890, the charity itself was renamed CSIS Charity Fund in 2007 to better reflect its relationship with the insurance society. Ten years later, CSIS and CSIS Charity Fund (CSISCF) held a celebration at Admiralty House in Whitehall to mark another decade of charitable donations.

Trustees and representatives from the CSISCF, plus many of its donation and grant beneficiaries gathered to celebrate the milestone. Also present were the team from the Civil Service Insurance Society whose hard work provide the funds that the CSIS Charity Funduses to make its grants. The insurance society's excellent trading results over the past decade have enable the Charity Fund to benefit from donations in excess of £6million, so the more policies we sell, the more money the CSIS Charity Fund can donate to help those in need in the Civil and Public Service community.
